Boy, 6, Goes Missing With Father From Cheltenham Township, Montgomery County – NBC10 Philadelphia

Early Sunday morning, Hwang s home caught fire in what investigators said was an arson. No injuries were reported in the 5:15 a.m. fire and the home appeared to be empty, police said. The boy s mother, who lives in Upper Dublin Township, alerted police that her son was missing Sunday afternoon, Cheltenham Police. Lt. Andy Snyder said. Hwang was last seen operating a blue 2021 BMW X5 with temporary Virginia tags, state police said while noting the boy could be at risk of harm. Police used GPS to try and track down the car, police said. The boy was found safe Monday in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, Snyder told NBC10. The boy was with his father and another adult, who is not being identified, inside the BMW.

(CBS) A missing boy and his father have been found in South Jersey after disappearing from Montgomery County. The father is now facing questioning by police. After more than 24 hours missing, 6-year-old Isaac Hwang was found safe and unharmed in Cherry Hill on Monday afternoon, along with his father, Jaemyung Hwang, and a third man that police are not identifying. “This is now the second missing child case that we’ve worked on in the last couple of months here, and they’re probably the most stressful cases that we work. However, bringing these to a successful resolution is always a huge relief to everybody involved,” said Cheltenham Township Police Lt. Andy Snyder.

Isaac Hwang, 6, went missing Sunday, Jan. 24 in the area of Limekiln Pike in Cheltenham Township, Montgomery County. Pennsylvania State Police believe the child could be at special risk of harm or injury. Hwang is described as standing 4 feet tall and weighing about 70 pounds. He is traveling with Jaemyung Hwang.
