Six-day-long holiday coming up in UAE

UAE residents can look forward to four more long weekends in 2021.
According to the official list of holidays approved by the UAE Cabinet for the public and private sectors for 2021-2022, the breaks will range from three to six days.
- Arafah Day is expected to be on July 19 (Zul Hijjah 9).
- Eid Al Adha: The next break coming up in 2021, the Eid Al Adha holiday will likely be from (Zul Hijjah 10 to 12) Tuesday, July 20 to Thursday, July 22, followed by a two-day weekend.

UAE residents are likely to get a five-day Eid Al Fitr break this year. As per astronomical calculations, the holy month of Ramadan is likely to last full 30 days.
This means the last day of the holy month would be on Wednesday, May 12. Hence, the first day of Eid is likely to fall on Thursday, May 13.
If Ramadan lasts 30 days
If Ramadan lasts 30 days – which it will as per astronomical calculations – residents will get a five-day break. The days off would be Ramadan 29 and 30; and Shawwal 1, 2 and 3 (Tuesday, May 11, to Saturday, May 15).
