Victim identified in Cape Coral shooting

CAPE CORAL, Fla. â Cape Coral Police have named the victim of a drive-by shooting early Sunday morning.
On May 8, around 12:30 am, officers responded and found the driver, Jadwin Lebronze-DâLast Carrion, 24, fatally shot on the 2400 block of Veterans Memorial Parkway E.
The passenger of the vehicle was also shot and transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
Investigators say Carrion was driving eastbound on Veterans Memorial Parkway when a suspect in another vehicle shot at his vehicle and fled.

A 24-year-old man was killed early Sunday in a drive-by shooting in Cape Coral.
Police said Jadwin Lebronze-D’Last Carrion was driving on Veterans Memorial Parkway East, headed toward the Midpoint Bridge, at about 12:30 a.m. when someone in another vehicle shot at him before fleeing.
A passenger in Carrion’s vehicle was also shot and taken to the hospital.
The shooting closed down a portion of Veterans and access to the Midpoint Bridge into Fort Myers for more than six hours Sunday morning.
The investigation showed that Carrion was eastbound on Veterans Memorial when a suspect in another vehicle shot at his vehicle. After firing, the suspect fled the area.
