National Caretaker Appreciation Day (NCAD) events continue on Monday through Sunday, Sept. 10 to acknowledge and honour caretakers for their dedication and commitment to the horse racing industry.
Nine racetracks nationwide are hosting National Caretaker Appreciation Day (NCAD) events this week. This will be the sixth year that caretakers' hard work will be celebrated.
This year’s theme for the National Caretaker Appreciation Day photo contest is 'Horses & Heart Set Us Apart' and Standardbred Canada (SC) is looking for photos that depict that special horse and human connection.
For the sixth consecutive year, Standardbred Canada (SC), in cooperation with racetracks, associations and industry partners across the country, will host National Caretaker Appreciation Day events from August 29 – September 10, 2023.
In 2018, the National Caretaker Appreciation Day (NCAD) initiative was launched by Standardbred Canada, and for the past five years, it has been extremely well received and has continued in cooperation with racetracks, associations, industry partners and sponsors across the country
