San Juan, 9 jul (EFE News).– El gobernador de Puerto Rico, Pedro Pierluisi, entregó este viernes a los tenismesistas Adriana Díaz y Brian Afanador la bandera puertorriqueña que portarán cada uno durante la ceremonia de apertura de los Juegos Olímpicos de Tokio 2020.
El acto, celebrado en La Fortaleza -sede del Ejecutivo puertorriqueño- contó con la asistencia de una parte de la delegación puertorriqueña que participará en los JJ. OO. en la capital japonesa, así como con el luchador Jaime Espinal, pasado abanderado de los Juegos Olímpicos de Río 2016.
