SACRAMENTO California Senate Republican leader Shannon Grove shared, and later deleted, a tweet Wednesday promoting a false conspiracy theory that Antifa activists led the riot at the U.S. Capitol by President Trump-backing extremists.
“Patriots don’t act like this!!” Grove, of Bakersfield, wrote as she she retweeted the false claim. “This was Antifa.”
