“We’d be nowhere without them,” Cara Schirtzinger said. She added, “Eighty percent of restaurants fail in the first five years …, so it was a big milestone for us.”

The report described Fields in an irate state, having “intentionally hit” her husband, Francis Fields, and “picked the computer up and threw it outside, breaking it some more.”

“I’m honored and humbled by the fact that the citizens of Lynn Haven elected me as the next mayor of this great city. I’m thankful for the grace of God’s grace. Also, for the opportunities that are coming our way,” Nelson said. He listed his wife and children, family and friends, volunteers, campaign team and voters.

“I know this can be frustrating for the public. It s frustrating for me and I’m sure for our commission. These are necessary evils of things that we must do and have to do to make sure every i is dotted and every t is crossed when we start applying for these funds and to rebuild the city,” Brudnicki said.
The consulting group takes the lead on applying for Community Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CBGDR) monies to restore and rebuild following a natural disaster. Through the program, with the support by Hagerty, the city has applied for more than $23 million in grants.
