One lesson learned by all Americans in 2020 is that it s darned hard to drink coffee or eat soup when wearing a facemask.
As people continue to stay and eat at home, and new indoor dining bans sprout across the U.S., restaurateurs have struggled to keep up sales. Almost 90% of full-service restaurants in a Dec. 7 Bloomberg survey reported declines, with revenue falling 36% on average.
