This week s Instant Message question: How would you rate storm water management in your area? What are your concerns?
I live on Lake Lemon. The storm water here is managed by a spillway. When we get rainfall like recently and in 2008, there can be a lot of damage, but the water level returns rather quickly.

I strongly commend how Bloomington city government is replacing and repairing the old storm water system, rather than several times a year declaring infrastructure
week and doing nothing like Republicans have done.
Marvant Duhon, Monroe County, just outside Bloomington
I live on a ridge top so I wasn’t personally affected. Sadly, my church on Kirkwood was a totally different story.
