KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 3): LuLu Financial Holdings, a prominent UAE-based holding company with investments in financial services and fintech products worldwide, has taken a 70.83% stake in Malaysia’s NS Cashpoint.
The acquisition is a part of Lulu Financial’s strategic efforts to consolidate its position in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, keeping in mind Malaysia’s position as a leading hub of the payments industry, based on a joint statement by both companies today.
“NS Cashpoint on its part, will be able to leverage on the benefits of value chain management that Lulu Financial brings to the table as a recognised investor of financial services and products in the Gulf Cooperation Council, Indian sub-continent and APAC economies,” the statement said.
