When September 11, 2001, dawned, it was another work day, but one that would prove to be like no other. We in Shreveport-Bossier observed most historic events from a distance; however, our community was forever linked to the fateful events of 9/11 when President George W. Bush landed at Barksdale Air Force Base and addressed the nation and the world.
