CHICAGO, April 28, 2021 /PRNewswire/ More than 23,000 students applied for the Elks National Foundation s Most Valuable Student scholarship, but only 20 interviewed for the six top awards of up to $50,000.
On April 23 and 24, the 2021 Elks National Foundation Most Valuable Student Top 20 National Finalists met virtually. Each student will receive an Elks National Foundation college scholarship of at least $20,000.
The top winners of a $50,000 Most Valuable Student scholarship are Jacob Lockman, sponsored by Mount Adams (White Salmon), Wash., Lodge No. 1868, and Gellila Asmamaw, sponsored by Lancaster, Pa., Lodge No. 134.
