Libraries share in state allocation Darren Iozia FacebookTwitterEmail Several west-central Illinois libraries have received a share of $752,835 allocated to 187 libraries statewide, according to State Librarian Jesse White. Beardstown Houston Memorial Public Library will receive $3,320 and Jacksonville’s Illinois School for the Visually Impaired will receive $4,900. Other allocations include $2,000 to Carlinville Public Library, $2,750 to Greenville Public Library, $4,700 to Petersburg Public Library, $4,864 to the Pikeland school district and $4,900 each to Brown County Public Library, Roodhouse Public Library, Rushville Public Library and Taylorville Public Library.
