Baker & Baker has joined the Federation of Bakers as an associated member.
Operating within bakery, foodservice, retail and wholesale, Baker & Baker employs around 2,500 staff across 12 sites in seven countries, with its UK headquarters based on the Wirral in the north west of England.
“We are excited to join the Federation of Bakers and become part of a national organisation that supports one of the key sectors in the UK food manufacturing industry,” said Liz McColgan, director quality Europe at Baker & Baker.
The Federation of Bakers represents the UK’s major plant bakeries supplying bread, morning goods and other bread products. Its eight member companies, running a total of 32 bakeries, are: Delifrance UK, Fine Lady Bakeries, Geary’s Bakeries, Irwins’ Bakery, Jacksons Bakery, Kerry Ingredients, Frank Roberts & Sons, and Warburtons.
