Giants players will wear caps that feature a multi-colored version of the team s classic SF logo, with the 11 colors the represent LGBTQ pride, on Saturday for the team s third game against the Chicago Cubs. Their jerseys will feature a similar arm patch that boasts the same color scheme.

Andy Jassy, who will replace Jeff Bezos as Amazon s CEO in the third quarter of 2021, was a key figure in deciding the location for the company s proposed $5 billion HQ2 project in 2018. That s according to the book Amazon Unbound, which came out last week. The book, written by Brad Stone, chronicles Amazon s growth over the last two decades.
Lady Eagles keep on winning
The Purdy softball team (22-1) added five more wins to its resume in the last week, besting Exeter, Lamar, Lincoln, Sweet Springs and Spokane, outscoring the quartet of opponents 58-1. In an 18-0 win over Exeter on April 21, Robyn Schad and Lauren Schallert led in hits with 3 each. Schallert and Jessi Hoppes tallied 3 RBI each. Schallert also pitched all five innings, striking out 10. She followed up that performance with a no-hitter against Lamar on Friday and a 2-0 win. Schad has 2 hits, and she and Annabelle Bowman each knocked a RBI. Schallert went all seven innings and retired 14 batters. A doubleheader Saturday saw the Lady Eagles top Lincoln, 2-0, and Sweet Springs, 20-1. against Lincoln, Schallert managed 2 hits and Dally Craig added a RBI. Schallert again went all seven innings, striking out 9. Hoppes led the charge against Sweet Springs with a 6-RBI showing on 3 hits. Schad also tallied 3 hits and 5 RBI. Schallert pitched two innings, striking o
