Considered the gold standard of Connecticut public school lacrosse, the Blue Wave did what they do best and captured another state title in ’19, the program’s 14th all-time. Like most elite programs around the country, Darien graduates key contributors who were impactful two years earlier, including attackman Michael Minicus (Colgate) and Power 100 recruit Jackson Peters (Navy) at midfield. Yet, anyone who has followed Jeff Brameier’s program knows that the Blue Wave tend to reload, rather than rebuild.

Top 100 senior attackman Holt Matheis (Georgetown) will look to take the reins of the offense, along with fellow classmate Jamison Moore, who will PG before heading to Princeton. Both have registered significant minutes, providing a relatively young offense with a source of experience.
