Students raise funds for virtual Mr. SHS Tuesday, March 9, 2021 12:23 PM Students in the Sisters High School Mr. SHS program are hosting a pasta feed to benefit Sisters Family Access Network (FAN) on Sunday, March 14.
The Mr. SHS participants will be doing this event delivery and takeout style. Tickets are available for purchase online. There will be a dessert auction online as well. There is also an option for donations.
Choose the contestant pair that you would like to support through your contribution, and fill out the Google form for the menu.

Learning history in real time
By Charlie Kanzig Tuesday, February 16, 2021 11:21 AM A six-week class during the presidential election, and the tumult and upheaval that followed, gave Sisters High School teacher Gail Greaney’s Advanced Placement Government Politics and Policy students a chance to study history in the making.
A January 21 article published by the state’s largest paper, The Oregonian, featured her class and focused on the challenge and strategies of teaching a course of this nature during an eventful political period.
The Nugget followed up with Greaney and two of her students to uncover more of what she and her classroom experienced during and after the presidential election.
