The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is sponsoring free community testing events across the state. Upcoming events are scheduled in Jackson County.
Anyone who has symptoms of COVID-19 or thinks that they may have been exposed to COVID-19, should get tested. DHHS-sponsored free community testing events are offered at no cost to anyone getting tested. There is no cost for people without insurance and documentation is not needed. If someone has insurance, the testing will be billed to their insurance provider, but no one getting tested will be charged co-pays or cost-sharing.
