This chase created a lot of excitement and concern because it happened right smack dab during the morning rush hour starting around 6 30. Police started pulling over wanted to pull over a toyota that was speeding. He stopped and he and four passengers bailed out. Then there was a foot chase. Police went behind that house and apprehended the suspect right there in the woods. A highspeed police chase along the Fairfax County parkway lasted several hours and involved dozens of officers. One responding cruiser crashed. Someone said they stopped somebody and they were chasing him. Reporter police say the suspect vehicle was speeding and would not pull over.
