Follow: Portland Winterhawks Two major positives for the Portland Winterhawks Saturday night: Seth Jarvis finally getting some reward for effort, and the power play breaking out. Jarvis had a hat trick against the Seattle Thunderbirds in a season where his puck luck hasn’t always been there. Two of those goals were on the power play, boosting the numbers of a unit that surprisingly has been near the bottom of the league. The win put them three points ahead of Seattle for 2nd place in the WHL’s US Division, and another win in the Sunday rematch would put them in the driver’s seat for finishing 2nd.
