Port Huron s chief administrator sent an invite out to community leaders in late August but said they d expand the tour date if public interests persists.
“Picture all this going on in one big block,” said Kevin Watkins, president of the Port Huron NAACP chapter. “All these different things going on at the same time. For the kids and then those older kids, the adults still with the kid-type spirit in them."
A resolution, slated to be introduced by Mayor Jennifer Vandenbossche, cites and proposes condemnation of conduct alleged to have occurred at an Aug. 3 meeting.
