The Louisville Leopard Percussionists BiG GiG 2024 The Louisville Leopard Percussionists will present their annual BiG GiG! Over 170 kids on stage playing jazz, pop, rock, and funk tunes on all things percussion. This year, we'll be premiering works written just for us by world famous musicians including Jackie Royce, Wes Greer, Kyri Demby, Victor Mendoza, Jonathan Scales, and former Leopard and drummer for Prince, Hannah Ford Welton. without power, two days after the unusual fall snowstorm. the way it s going to look, it will be a couple of weeks before we are caught up to all of this stuff. there were some close calls. all of a sudden, there was a noise and the house shook. reporter: it shook from these two trees that fell on the ecrich home. must have been pretty scary, huh? no. the house went like this. reporter: in many neighborhoods here in new jersey, the snow from the season caused more damage than hurricane irene. this will cause major repairs after a 100-foot tree fell on top of it. we have trees down all across the northern part of the state that have taken wires down, both supply waters wires, transmission lines and lines to homes. reporter: it s the same storm in massachusetts and connecticut, where crews are trying to repair sagging or severed power lines. it looks kind of what i think a war zone would look like. hundreds of thousands of residents on the east coast may
