YORK COUNTY, S.C. (WBTV) - Three people have been arrested more than a month after a deadly home invasion and attack in York County on Christmas night.
The home invasion happened on Dec. 25 in Smith Ford Road in Hickory Grove, South Carolina.

Three arrests have been made a month after a violent Christmas Day home invasion in York County that left an elderly woman dead. Three people broke into a home on Smithfield Road in Hickory Grove that belonged to a 75-year-old man and his 72-year-old wife.
A woman went to the coupleâs home and claimed she was having car trouble. The male homeowner was lured outside where two men put a gun to his head, tied him up and kicked him. The victimâs wife, Sarah Childers, was also assaulted. The suspects stole a gun, cash, jewelry and the coupleâs SUV. Childers died on Jan. 16 while being hospitalized for the attack.
