portion of the town of thurman in iowa, has been destroyed no one was injured there. early this morning five people were killed and 29 injured when a twister touched down in the northwest oklahoma town of woodward the mayor said the sirens were not working but did go off when a smaller tornado came through yesterday. some areas have been hit with large damaging hail as those tornadoes rolled in this video from a town where the five deaths occurred, there are reports of widespread power outages across many of the regions. more dramatic video, a storm chaser caught this multivortex tornado, you see both funnels on either side of each other near cheer key yesterday one of many cherokee yesterday one of many funnel clouds caught on camera. here is some of the damage a lot of lives were saved because resident s got a 24 hour warning apparently and with good reason many residents heeded the alert. a similar scene in iowa, 75% of the town of thurman was destroyed, the town h
