He’s a football lifer who grew up in Medford, played at the University of Maine and married his teenage sweetheart Judy Crowley. He’s been a head coach at UMass, Richmond and VMI, and an assistant coach at Syracuse, Virginia, Iowa, Boston College and Bucknell.
