The parents of a 17-year-old boy who took his own life last year as a result of relentless bullying at a prestigious New Jersey boarding school said the last thing he told them was that he was "doing better" and loved them.
Jack Reid, 17, a student at Lawrenceville School in New Jersey took his own life after being bullied by other students. A year after his death a school statement recognized their failure to protect Jack.
The Lawrenceville School in New Jersey said it fell "tragically short" of "expectations" to ensure the safety and wellbeing of a student who died by suicide a year ago Sunday.
