Southern california is raging out of control burning homes and forcing thousands to find shelter. Good afternoon. That fire is burning just north of los angeles. Governor brownished a state of emergency a short time ago. Crews say wind driven flames have scorched more than 30,000 acres and destroyed at least 150 buildings. Chris martinez is live with the latest from ventura county. Reporter that wind continues to be a big problem for firefighters at this hour, continues to push this fire further than it has been. This is the result when you combine the fire and winds. A lot of homes and neighborhoods are just simply burned to the ground and gone. Right now thousands more are still threatened.
