Villa Park trustees approved a six-month extension for developers planning to purchase 100 110 S. Villa Ave. to build a mixed-use apartment and retail building. Catalyst Partners and Marquette Companies sought the extension because of their inability to secure a general contractor for a fall 2022 construction start.
Villa Park has approved the architectural firm and the sale of bonds up to $7.5 million to help fund a new recreation center and redevelopment of outdoor facilities at Lions Park.
