POLSON â Authorities have released the name of the person who died in a Thursday evening crash in the Mission Valley.
Lake County Sheriff Don Bell says that 70-year-old Jack Howlett of Ronan died in the accident which happened on US Highway 93 south of Ronan.
Emergency crews responded to reports of a head-on crash involving a passenger car and a semi-truck at approximately 6:30 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 93 and Innovation Drive.
Howlett was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, according to Sheriff Bell.
