1,100 handguns were stolen last year in the state, and forty were recovered in Salisbury during traffic stops. This has caused lawmakers in Annapolis to rethink handgun theft as a misdemeanor.
Maryland Department of Agriculture and local farmers say overpopulated deer are reducing crop yields, which are putting farmers' livelihood in jeopardy.
"We hope that even more Marylanders will take advantage of this service because it is safe for our taxpayers and it allows us to deliver tax returns much quicker."
