HADLEY At least 40 Hadley residents will be along town streets Saturday morning as part of an effort to remove trash and debris.
The Hadley Climate Change Committee is sponsoring the Hadley Spring Cleanup Day, which begins at 8 a.m.
“We are hoping that this could be something that is an annual event where we take some time and clean up our community,” committee chairman Jack Czajkowski told the Select Board in seeking permission for the event.
Czajkowski said the idea was inspired by the recent Earth Day cleanup in Leverett that was dubbed Great Leverett Roadside Cleanup.
