The agent, from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), has not been publicly identified.
The alleged robber-turned-shooter has: Jabree Johnson, 26, of Trenton, who was wounded in the incident and is charged with robbing and trying to kill the agent in a convenience store parking lot on Greenwood Avenue last Monday, March 22.
The Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office charged Johnson last week, alleging he tried to rob the agent during the encounter. The agent responded by throwing cash at Johnson, and firing at him, authorities said. A wounded Johnson then ran and fired back at the agent as he raced away on foot, they said.
