supporting the recommendation to remove the temporary fencing around the capitol square. you know, after jabnuary 6, aftr the insurrection when the rioters entered this building, police enacted put fencing around the capitol to protect and it was hard to access. visitors could not get anywhere near the capitol. the outer fencing was removed and now the inner fencing is coming down and those of us who come here every day is celebrating the fact that things are returning to normalcy. but this of course is being celebrated by lawmakers on both sides of the aisle. they both both republicans and democrats wanted to see this fencing come down and things return to normalcy. you know, the task force wrote that this inner fencing, the temporary fencing was too hard to monitor and required too many personnel to take care of. and it made the capitol complex less accessible which was a priority for a building like this. but the bottom line here is six
