Egypt and Kuwait agreed on Tuesday on the need to work together to bolster bilateral cooperation between their countries and support collective Arab work. Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Mishal al-Ahmad al-Jaber Al-Sabah arrived in Egypt on Tuesday on his first official visit to the country since ascending the throne in December. He was received at the airport by President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi. They later held bilateral talks at the presidential palace in Cairo. Expanded talks between delegations from both countries then followed.
Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Mishal al-Ahmad al-Jaber Al-Sabah arrived in Cairo on Tuesday on an official visit. He was welcomed upon his arrival by President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi. Sheikh Mishal is accompanied by a delegation that includes the ministers of finance, economy, and foreign affairs. Spokesman for the Egyptian presidency Ahmed Fahmy said the visit is part of the “historic ties” that bind Egypt and Kuwait. The leaderships of both countries are keen on bolstering bilateral relations between their peoples, he went on to say.
