A day after a US prosecutor decided to not pursue criminal charges against the Seattle police officer who killed 23-year-old Indian student Jaahnavi Kandula, the Indian embassy on Saturday sought a review of the decision.
The Seattle police officer who struck and killed Indian student Jaahnavi Kandula while responding to an overdose call, will not face any criminal charges due to lack of "sufficient" evidence, authorities said.
Jaahnavi Kandula, a 23-year-old Indian student, was killed after being hit by a speeding police vehicle in the US state of Washington on January 23 last year.
