The Caucus of African American Leaders this week proposed renaming the Frederick C. Malkus Bridge across the Choptank River to the Gloria Richardson Bridge.
In a virtual meeting Monday morning, the Caucus of African American Leaders voted to ask state officials to rename the Frederick C. Malkus Jr. Bridge, citing Malkus’ “resistance to desegregation.”
