One of 217 tests positive for COVID-19

There was one new case of COVID-19 identified out of 217 tests performed May 21, according to the Joint Information Center.
Thus far, there have been a total of 8,132 officially reported cases of COVID-19. There have been 139 deaths and 99 cases are in active isolation.
The CAR Score is 0.8.
Guam DOE employee positive
The Guam Department of Education confirmed Saturday that an employee tested positive for COVID-19. The individual works at Tamuning Elementary School.
Guam DOE, in collaboration with Public Health, is conducting contact tracing to identify and notify individuals who were in close contact with this individual, the Joint Information Center reported. The individuals will be placed in quarantine and/or isolation until they are cleared by Public Health.
