EDGEWATER PARK, N.J. (AP) A man has been indicted in the shooting deaths of two men slain in a vehicle as they were pulling into the parking lot of a New Jersey apartment complex earlier this year, authorities said.

Everybody around me feels the same and you don t have to explain anything, she said of participants at an event organized by the Burlington County Prosecutor s Office. Everybody has the the same hopes, they have the same sorrow, said Coates, whose gray hoodie carried a message for Norman Mosley, a nephew slain in a home-invasion robbery in September 2016.

Al tarrek Bell Photo: Facebook The family of a North Carolina teen who was gunned down in New Jersey late last month said he died protecting a 10-year-old boy from being shot.  Al-Tarrek Bell, 18, was found shot to death in the backseat of a car along with another man at an apartment complex in Edgewater Park, New Jersey shortly after midnight on March 27. Sadiel Gonzalez, the driver of the vehicle, was also killed in the shooting, according to county prosecutors. A child sitting next to Bell in the back seat and a passenger in the car s front seat survived the attack, according to the Courier-Post.

The injuries proved fatal to the teen, Al Tarrek Bell, who died at the scene along with the driver of the car, 25-year-old Sadiel Gonzalez, who was a resident of the apartment complex where the March 27 shooting broke out, say Edgewater Park Township, N.J., police.
