Patience Ozokwor was born in Ngwo, Enugu State, on March 25, 1958. Enugu state is located in Nigeria's southeastern region. She went to Abimbola Gibson Memorial School in Lagos, Nigeria, before being accepted into Methodist Girls School Yaba. She quickly relocated to Enugu with her family for safety.
