The WKU group will be working with the Morgan County Habitat for Humanity Affiliate on a construction site and at the ReStore facility.
The May 2-8 trip is the first for the WKU chapter since spring break in March 2020 when chapter members were in Decatur and WKU announced COVID-19 changes.
“We are all definitely excited to build again,” Chapter Co-President Mia Sword said. “I think people understand that this trip couldn’t occur otherwise unless we enforce strict policies. For us to be able to go on trips in the future, we have to set a good example now.”
