Ivy Isherwood, a resident of Thunder Bay, passed away on September 13, 2022, two months shy of her 96th birthday. Ivy was born in OIdham, England in 1926 and emigrated to Canada with husband Gerry in 1956.

Co-operative group Langley Community Benefits Society has secured funding to build its own social housing on the Langley estate in Middleton – the first community-led housing group in the Rochdale borough.
