3:45 p.m. Florida adds 84 more COVID-19 deaths, five in Duval County
Florida added 84 more deaths from COVID-19 in Sunday s daily report on COVID-19, including five fatalities in Duval County, as the novel coronavirus continued its spread in the state.
Northeast Florida has now recorded 1,112 COVID-19 deaths to date. The Florida death toll now stands at 20,133, including 19,866 residents of the state.
The Florida Department of Health reported 1,125,931 cumulative positive tests from the start of the pandemic, a rise of 8,958 compared to Saturday s report.
Duval County added 533 new cases, while St. Johns County recorded 116 new cases, Clay County 83, Putnam County 39, Nassau County 33 and Baker County 13. | Read more
3:20 p.m. Florida adds 72 deaths as state toll surpasses 20,000 from COVID-19
Florida added 72 more deaths from COVID-19 in Saturday s daily report on the coronavirus pandemic, raising the state s cumulative toll to more than 20,000.
The Florida Department of Health has now recorded 20,049 fatalities to date as a result of the novel coronavirus, including 19,785 Florida residents.
Northeast Florida added four fatalities two in Duval County, one in Clay County and one in St. Johns County as the area s toll rose to 1,107. | Read more
