than a foot of snow. reports of 10-foot drifts in parts of colorado. authorities have had to close several interstate sections, stranding lots of families, hoping to get a head start on the holidays. our chief meteorologist rick reichmuth is in the middle of all the mess in the oklahoma panhandle. it s been such a year of extreme weather across the country. few places really know that as much as they do across the panhandle of oklahoma. earlier today we talked with ivan clark. he talked about just how dry this area has been. moisture wise this is just such a blessing. we have been such a terrible drought in the last year, 18 months. we had, in fact, just last april 3rd we had a devastating fire that came right into our southwest corner of the town. we lost two or three homes. this summer, shepard, they had wildfires that almost tore through this town. they have lost houses in this community and now they get this, very heavy snow and a very wet snow. so while you think they might
