No charges are being filed against a woman after the bodies of four babies were found in her Boston apartment freezer in 2022, a US district attorney announced this week.

The causes of these incidents range from suspicious shootings or kidnappings to environmental deaths from ignorance of safety precautions (such as hypothermia or carbon monoxide poisoning), mental health problems leading to suicides, and even suspicious accidents leading to violent crimes, according to an analysis of the Foundation for India and Indian Diaspora Studies (FIIDS).
The statement comes after the Seattle police officer who struck and killed Indian student Jaahnavi Kandula while responding to an overdose call, will not face any criminal charges due to lack of "sufficient" evidence.
