CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY - The city government on Tuesday announced the recovery and eventual discharge from confinement of 144 coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) patients from different hospitals here. In an online briefer. Dr. Ted Yu Jr, city health office (CHO) medical officer, said three of the discharged patients were from the Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC); and one from a Covid-19 facility in San Simon village, which is also under the supervision of NMMC. The rest of the 140 patients were discharged from different infirmaries. With the huge single-day recovery of patients, Yu said Covid-19 cases admitted in hospitals decreased to 642 from 786. "In the different hospitals, the discharging process has been fast because most of the cases are mild," Yu said.
