be addressed. democrats have to really have to have a finely honed message that we re doing a lot for the average american. and it s working. it s such an interesting point. there were significant legislative victories in 2021 for democrats in the white house. american rescue plan, the bipartisan infrastructure bill, yet people seem to think they have not done anything at all. how do they change that? right. we ve seen poll after poll show that voters are not aware of some of the things that the president passed. i interviewed vice president kamala harris recently and asked her what the midterm message should be for democrats. she said democrats need to do a better job oficies they passed agenda they re pushing for to people specifically. she mentioned rural americans, black americans, connecting specific policy issues to things that would affect people in their daily lives and do a better job of making that connection. we know that something that
for 20 years wearing that uniform before you go out in the field and make sure it s working. all of a sudden you get in the field and you don t know the difference between a two-pound glock and a taser? and we know that officers create audio records. taser, taser, taser, just before they use force on you like they will say stop fighting me, stop kicking me. so i find all of what she is saying is disingenuous and dishonest. she said i saw a black man with an air freshener, something i wouldn t ordinarily do but she wanted her probationary officer play with this man and it ended up in his death. i m offended. she said she had never deployed it in her 26-year career. does that pass the smell test what do you make of that? it sounds like we just lost her. we will try to get her back
that the trump people and the republicans have been pursuing, and it s working, and it s killing people. it s killing people. and, mike, that s exactly the point. they are running against vaccines in some cases. as we welcome this new variant and think of joe biden, who ran on solving a pandemic, who is out there trying to tell people what they are going to get in their hometown, and mike, you know this better than most, his polls are straight up underwater. well, covid, there is no political victories in covid because if you are responsible leader of either party in this crisis, you are in the castor oil business. you know? it s a democracy. people have the right to be incredibly stupid. but they don t have a right to act in a va that endangers other people. so, you know, my advice to
