Despite the Sunday afternoon showers, the stars of British Columbia racing were out for B.C. Breeders Classic Day, the richest day of harness racing in the province, on Nov. 6 at Fraser Downs, including full brothers Mickie Mantle and Joe Dimagio, who swept the male pacing finals.
Sophomores were the stars of the show Monday evening at Fraser Downs as the oval hosted leg three of the Mary Murphy for filly pacers and the Robert Murphy Memorial for colt and gelding pacers.
Fraser Downs hosted pacing sophomores for the second round of the Robert Murphy Memorial, for colts and geldings, and the Mary Murphy Memorial, for fillies, on Thursday night (Oct. 6).
Trainer Kelly Hoerdt collected three victories on the 10-race card Thursday night (Sept. 29) at Fraser Downs including a victory in one of the four stakes prelims and in the co-featured $10,000 Fillies and Mares Open Pace.
