CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga - A new bridge that will improve transport connectivity in the province of Aurora will soon be constructed. Roderick Andal, district engineer of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) - Aurora District Engineering Office, said Thursday the construction of the new bridge in Barangay Obligacion, Baler, Aurora is expected to be finished by August next year. Andal said the two-lane bridge, with a total length of 0.25 km., including the approaches, has a budget of PHP110.88 million. He said its construction is one of the priority projects to be undertaken by the DPWH in Aurora. "This will definitely benefit the residents of Barangay Obligacion, as well as provide better land travel to motorists heading to the towns of Maria Aurora and Dipaculao," Andal said in an official social media account post.
