Modena end four-match losing streak
Continue race for Italian League Playoffs
Once mighty Leo Shoes Modena have put an end to their four-match losing streak, that puts them back on track in their desperate race to finish amongst the top eight in the Regular Season and make the Playoffs of the Italian Men s League.
Eleven points each from Nemanja Petric and Daniele Lavia and a brilliant performance by MVP of the game setter Micah Christenson made the difference for Modena in their 3-0 (25-21, 25-15, 25-12) sweep of second-from-bottom of the table Consar Ravenna on Sunday at home in the PalaPanini. The 12-time national champions (most recently in 2016) had not scored a win in the Italian League since 25 November, when they struggled to squeeze past bottom of the table Top Volley Cisterna in five sets.
