maneuver to attach this to an uncontroversial one that s still doing some good. the other big take away is we ve heard this thing about how he said well, i didn t need to do this and the question is whether this emergency even exists or the whole thing is concocted a whether he admitted that. people are saying, oh, the case is closed already. i m not so sure about this. this will be frustrating to people but the way the law works, generally courts don t look at the facts on something like this. they say that is a decision for the president or the politically elected branches to decide, we re just determining whether this statutory authority can be interpreted given the fact that a declaration has been made. and so it may not matter what he has sad id or whether we believ in the real world that an emergency exists. the courts may defer to him and not even look at that. we re getting new reaction coming in from lawmakers on capitol hill, unsurprisingly, for example, from dengmocratic l
being here. so the the order is signed. and i ll sign the final papers as soon as i get into the oval office. we will have a national emergency. we will then be sued and they will sue us in the ninth circuit, even though it shouldn t be there. we will possibly get a bad ruling, we ll get another bad ruling and we ll end up in the supreme court and hopefully we ll get a fair shake and we ll win in the supreme court. just like they did on the ban, and we lost and we went to the supreme court and we won. it was very interesting because yesterday they were talking about the ban. we have a ban, it s very helpful, madam secretary, is that right? without the ban, we d have a bigger problem. we have a ban on certain areas, certain countries depending on
